Turkey

A dreamland where the comforts of modern lifestyle embrace the magical charms of the Orient! Asia hugs Europe right here in Turkey. Mainland Anatolia is the cradle of many ancient civilizations stretching from Orient to Europe. Anatolia masters in engulfing and interpreting each past ancient culture together with the present modern day lifestyle in almost a mystical unique combination. Today's Turkey (presently the only secular Islamic nation on earth) is a live open-air museum set in a magical background.

Now it is easier and more advantageous -as compared to some other countries- for foreign nationals to own property in Turkey where in recent years some new legislation were put into force in order to facilitate such ownership… Also keep in mind that Turkey is now on her way to become a member of the European Community.

Transport to and from Turkey to almost anywhere in the world is easy and frequent.

Bodrum

What is your most heartfelt desire in life? To join the nightlife with the world jet set? Or to enjoy a quiet meal with your loved ones under olive trees? Whichever of these it may be, you can now have one or the other, in Bodrum.

The history of Bodrum or Halicarnassus as ancient Greeks called it, dates back to 1000 BC. Bodrum is the hometown of the famous ancient Greek-Herodotus who mentions “the peculiar light quality of the air in Halicarnassus” in his memoirs. This port-city hosted many cultures, during the course of long centuries: the Dors, Karias, Persians, Mongols, Knights of Rhodes, Pirates, Ottomans and now us. The Castle of Bodrum, built in1408 during the rule of the Knights of Rhodes in honour of St. Petrus, still standing strong today; and now housing “the Bodrum Underwater Archeological Museum”, one of the World's richest and most outstanding museums of historical relics salvaged from the sea.

Today Bodrum is amongst the most popular holiday resorts in the Mediterranean, thanks to her historical and cultural riches, natural beauty, breezy air and multinational jet-set nightlife. The climate in the peninsula contrary to its surroundings is very healthy and dry due to the constant northwestern breeze that sweeps off the humidity. Ask a blue voyage sailor friend of yours.

Situated on the Northern Coast and on one of the most beautiful bays of the Bodrum Peninsula, Yalıkavak is the place to rediscover the hidden you. She welcomes the new arrivals with her windmills dotting the most beautiful scenery among the olive trees in the daytime, and with her most colorful sundowns at the dusk. The ancient burial monuments in the rocks, the remnants of very old village walls and volcanic nature of the terrain are the silent witnesses to the rich history of Yalıkavak and its surroundings. To name just a few varieties of this area, we mention olive oil-based fish and vegetable dishes, specialty of the Aegean Region; typical Mediterranean-style outdoors; enjoyable trekking routes; beach clubs for windsurfers; wide and beautiful beaches; outstanding hotels, restaurants and bars and so on… They all add rich colors to your lifestyle in Yal›kavak.
